Ashley Hays
Lead Dental Assistant/Marketing Manager

Ashley is originally from the Oklahoma City metro, but grew up in Choctaw, Oklahoma. In ninth grade, she began working as a dental assistant and it was at the age of fifteen that she realized just how fulfilling a job in the dental field could be. She graduated high school in 2005 and was admitted to the University of Oklahoma to pursue an academic career that would prepare her for dental hygiene school.

While attending the University of Oklahoma, she helped launch a dental clinic at Health for Friends, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free and low-cost health care to the uninsured and underserved residents of Norman, Oklahoma. Health for Friends exemplified the type of dentistry that Ashley firmly believes in: individualized care focused on the health and well being of each patient. It is this type of patient care that Ashley is most proud to bring to Signature Dental.

Ashley is well-versed in all aspects of the dental office setting, efficiently coordinating our schedule, assisting with treatment, handling our marketing and promotions, as well as case presentation.

Ashley graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2011 with a B.A. in History. In her free time, she enjoys seeing live music, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her friends and family.

Ashley Taylor
Dental Hygienist

Ashley graduated from Oklahoma Christian University with a B.S. in Biology in 2006. She found her passion for dentistry while working as an orthodontic assistant in Edmond. She continued her education at the University of Oklahoma, where she graduated in 2010 with a degree in dental hygiene.

She is happily married and currently resides in Yukon, Oklahoma. She and her husband Christian have a young Westie named Izzy whom they adore. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and doing anything outdoors. She loves working at Signature Dental because patient care is our number one priority, and everyone is treated like family.

Shannon Hitchcock
Receptionist/Insurance Coordinator

Shannon grew up in NW Oklahoma City and has lived most of her life in the OKC area. She attended school at South Western Oklahoma State University, where she worked toward a degree in Business Administration. Shannon has been in the dental field for many years, and most recently was employed as a dental office manager for over 10 years.

She is well-versed in all aspects of the dental front office, and efficiently coordinates our schedule, assists with financial arrangements, and works with insurance companies to help our patients maximize their benefits.

She currently resides in the SW OKC area with her husband Brace, and two boys, Brendan and Tristan. When she is not busy, she enjoys gardening, decorating and remodeling her home, and listening to live music.

Kaylee Hamman
Assistant

Kaylee is the newest member of the Signature Dental team! She is currently attending OSU-OKC and will graduate in December 2012 with a degree in Apparel Merchandising and Marketing, although her most recent professional goal is to attend dental hygiene school. She is currently taking courses pursuant to this career path, which is what brought her to Signature Dental. 

Kaylee is involved with multiple non-profit organizations, and has more recently volunteered in Ghana, Africa. Volunteer work is where her heart is, as she aspires to improve the health and hygiene of those less fortunate. 

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at the lake with her family and friends, participating in water sports, or simply relaxing on the water.
